Cosmetics & Toiletries Magazine announced the winner of its 2006 International Technology Awards (The winner in the New Best Technology category) was Aquea Scientific Corp. for its Aquea SPF Wash-On SPF Technology. Accepting the award on behalf of Aquea Scientific was Dave Compton, President and CEO of the company (He was a long time client of FuturisticLOGO Dot Com).

Design inspiration for this logo was taken from the corporation's branding slogan "Taking you Beyond The Map". Envisioning, capturing and graphically representing that message in their insignia was crucial.
